People usually reluctant to eat small fish for the fear of chances of sticking of bones in the throat. This recipe describes how to marinate small fish so that after cooking they become crispy and easy to eat with bones and without sticking to the throat.

Clean and wash the small fish with water.
In a mixing bowl mix, the cleaned and washed small fish with all the ingredients very well.
Rest the marinated fish for 10 minutes. In a pan heat mustard oil till the fume comes.
Arrange the fish one by one in medium flame.
Cook uncovered for 3 minutes then for 3 minutes in low flame. - 2
Now flip all one-sided cooked fish. Likewise cook the other side for 5 minutes in low flame, uncovered. Crispy fried small fish ready to be served with sliced onion, slit green chilli and lemon slice.
