Steps

25 mins
  1. 1

In a wok take semolina and add cardamom to it and roast it on slow flame till sweet aroma comes out of it don't over heat and be careful colour of semolina should be white don't make it brown

  2. 2

Then add oil to it and stirr for 7 to 8 mins

  3. 3

Then add grinded sugar to it and half cup lukewarm and kewra water to it

  4. 4

Adding water to it is a very technical point one should be very carefull because if by mistake you add extra water it will become soft and not turn into jamawa halwa

  5. 5

Add water carefully till it become medium consistency and not soft

  6. 6

When halwa is done immediately spread it over a greased tray with oil

  7. 7

And with the help of knife make pieces immediately otherwise it turned hard

  8. 8

Spread chopped pistachios and almonds and grated coconut over it
