Steps

Heat the milk until medium to low heat.

Crush the goond then fry the goond in portions.

Boil the milk until it is half of the original quantity.

Add khoya in the milk and stir continuesly.

Stir for 25 to 30 mins.

Add sugar in the milk and stir continuesly.

Cook until the excess water of sugar is dried and the mixture becomes thick.

Add the desiccated coconut into the mixture. Also add 2 to 3 tablespoons of desi ghee.

Add 1/2 kg of ghee in portions along the times pan of 20 to 25 mins and keep stirring the mixture.

Add the dried and washed kashkash and mix for 10 mins.

Now add cardamom,nutmeg and mace powders.

Add the remaining 1/2 kg ghee and mix until you can see residue of ghee around the edges of the pan.

Now add the fried goond and mix rapidly and take it off the stove.

Now add the mixture in a dish and make it even.

FOR GARNISHING: You can sprinkle almond and pistachio and press them.
