Ingredients

30 minutes
5 servings
  1. 5Radish chopped
  2. 2Onions medium sized
  3. 2Tomatoes large
  4. 3 spoonsGinger garlic paste
  5. 5 spoonsGroundnut oil/Sunflower oil
  6. 1 spoonFennel
  7. 1 spoonJeera
  8. 2green chillies
  9. as required Coriander leaves for garnish
  10. For Masalas-
  11. 1 spoonChilli powder
  12. 1 1/2 spooncoriander powder
  13. 1/2 spoonTurmeric powder
  14. 3/4 spoonGaram masala
  15. For grinding-
  16. 8cashews
  17. 2 spoonspoppy seeds

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a pressure cooker add oil and when it gets hot add 1 spoon fennel and 1 spoon jeera and let it splutter.

    Add onions and 2 green chillies and saute for 1 minute.

    Add 2 spoons ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off

    Now add tomatoes and rock salt and saute for 1 minute.

    Add chopped radish and saute for 1 minute.

    Add the ingredients in masala and saute for 30 seconds

    Add 1 cup water and mix the masala and when it boils put the lid on the pressure cooker and give 2 whistles and simmer for 1 minute.

    Open the pressure cooker when the pressure goes off and switch on the stove and add the cashew poppy seed paste and boil till gravy thickens.

    Add 1 spoon sugar (optional).

    Switch off the stove once it thickens and garnish and serve with coriander leaves.
