Steps
- 1
Blend date's with just enough milk to make a fine Paste. Run the paste through a sieve with small holes. To remove all the skin. Keep the smooth date paste aside.
- 2
Heat the rest of the milk in a sauce Pan. Add milk powdered in milk and mix well.
- 3
Reduce heat and add the date's Paste. Whisk until well incorporated and smooth, heat the whole mixture until it is very hot but not boiling.
- 4
Then remove from heat and let cool until it is still Lukewarm. Do not cool it too much. It should be hot. But cool enough for the finger test.
- 5
Once it reaches that temperature, gently stir in the starter culture. Add plain yogurt and whisk until smooth.
- 6
Gently decant the date's flavoured mixture into containers in which u want the yogurt to set.
- 7
There are various ways you can incubate the mixture to form a Yogurt. I normally place the bowls in an insulted container which has a lid and leave it aside for 6-8 hours or until the yogurt has sets completely.
- 8
After 8 hours check Once yogurt is done. Then keep them in refrigerate until serving time.
- 9
Enjoy Sugar Free Date's yogurt topped with more Date's.
