Ingredients

  • 1 kgboiled potatoes
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspCornflour
  • Oil for frying
  • Stuffing:
  • 1 cupBoiled peas
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspChilli powder
  • 1/2 tspAmchur powder
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • Amritsari chole
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Coriander chutney
  • Curd
  • Beetroot for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly mash the potatoes with the help of potato masher and add cornflour into it.make a dough.

  2. 2

    Now add all the above ingredients peas+salt+chilli powder+cumin powder+amchur powder+chat masala.

  3. 3

    Make a ball of potato and make a hole filled peas stuffing into it and closed and shape a ball and gently flat it.Ready all tikkis with potatoes.

  4. 4

    Now heat non stick tawa.add 2tbsp oil and warm it and put tikki one by one and fry till become golden and crispy.

  5. 5

    Now take a saucer and put two tikki and pressed them.

  6. 6

    Add amritsari chole.now add curd and sprinkle salt,chilli powder,chat masala and cumin powder now add tamarind and green chutney and garnish with grated and shredded beetroot. Now serve hot tikkis and enjoyed it.
