Take a pressure cooker and add oil in it.

Once heated, add jeera to it. Once jeera turned black add washed rice to it. Cook it in oil for 30 seconds then add water to it. Once water comes to a boil add green peas to it. Add salt, chilli powder and black pepper powder to it. And put the lid on. Cook till one whistle then put the flame off. Matar chawal is ready. Enjoy with curd or raita or with any veg of your choice. Or you can enjoy them with achar.
