Pizza Margherita

Raise your hand if you don't love pizza! I'll admit, pizza from a pizzeria is the best, but with two little kids, going out at night is a challenge. So last night, we had a pizza night at home! Crack open a beer and enjoy!

Raise your hand if you don't love pizza! I'll admit, pizza from a pizzeria is the best, but with two little kids, going out at night is a challenge. So last night, we had a pizza night at home! Crack open a beer and enjoy!
Steps
- 1
Start by making the dough. In a large bowl or directly on your work surface, combine the flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix with a fork. Meanwhile, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water.
- 2
Combine everything and knead until you have a smooth, even dough. Lightly oil a bowl and place the dough inside. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place. I let it rise all day, but you can use it after a couple of hours.
- 3
When your dough is ready, roll it out with a rolling pin or stretch it with your fingertips. Place it on a baking sheet, add the tomato puree, drizzle with a little olive oil, and lightly salt.
- 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, add the mozzarella pieces, and bake for another 10 minutes. Take it out, cut into slices, sprinkle with oregano if you like, and enjoy!
