Ingredients

6 medium rolls
  • 1/2 cupstoneground wheat flour
  • 1and quatr cup plain flour
  • 2 tablespoonbutter and1or 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Halfcup warm milk
  • Some flour for dusting
  • Little butter or oil for tray and for topping rolls in cooking
  • 1 packdry Yeast (or just half pack will do)
  • 2 tablespoonbrown suger for yeast development and nice flavor )
  • 4 tablespoonwarm water(for yeast development

Steps

    Frozen dough rolls,taken out to defrost(picture is the base of them).please note that they may seem grainy when they are half defrosted but just recombine and work with the dough round until smooth again...this also helps them to defrost further inshaallah

    (In a large enof bowl to contain all ingredients and space enof to rise the dough)Proof the yeast by add in yeast, little warm water and suger...wait until foams or bubbles..Then add all other gredients.and knead until nicely formed dough...not too soft and not tough..just right InshaAllah.then set aside to let rise,cover and place in a dry place.. after risen,knead briefly and form balls.Then can freeze for later days or weeks!!! In advance, use (like used this recipe) or use straight away

    If frozen: These are them when taken out of freezer to get defrosted inshaallah

    Some methods of defrosting may include:Microwaving to defrost them..you can place three at a time in a container not close together..few seconds(not over heat them).and when out of oven,they are back into soft dough(see pics) which can be reshaped to rolls again InshaAllah!

    Roll Shaping :Making the roll shape the dough portion and put on hand palm. move it around while taking edges and tucking in slightly then another edge of circle and tuck..go around whole cricl roll until it has smooth surface and base looks something like one of the roll shown in the pic).

    Preheat oven briefly place the rolls in and leave to cook until risen.when risen well,then can smear some oil or butter over the top,to make softer and cooked nicely surface,also helps to brown abit more...leave until the base is cooked and surface is nice color InshaAllah!

    Remove from oven,Let cool and slice the centre reveal the texture and if cooked thru can see how fluffy they are MashaAllah.bismillah and enjoy as part of other recipes such as burgers,sandwiches,breakfast,soups etc!.place in a food bag and can store in fridge for freshness if prefer?
