Chinese Spare Ribs and Rice (Instant Pot)

Ingredients

  1. 1 lbpork spare ribs, chopped
  2. 1 1/2 tbspblack bean sauce
  3. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  4. 1 tbspshaoxing rice wine
  5. 1 tbspminced ginger
  6. 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  7. 1 tspsesame oil
  8. 1 tspsugar
  9. 1 tspfish sauce
  10. to tasteWhite pepper
  11. 1 tbspoil
  12. 1 1/2 cupjasmine rice
  13. 1 1/4 cupcold water

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients up to white pepper to create marinade for spare ribs. Mix thoroughly with spare ribs and leave in fridge at least 30 minutes

  2. 2

    Add oil to spare ribs and layer on bottom of instant pot. Add rice and water on top. Make sure rice is completely covered by liquid

  3. 3

    Cook on high pressure for 13 minutes, then natural release
