Great vodka sauce! Ive made it a lot, it goes with everything! Once you make it, it’s incredibly easy to tweak it with however you like it. Ive used it for stuffed shells, rigatoni, and mostaccioli. Goes well with about everything. Also freezes well, so its easy to double up and make larger batches.

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupvodka
  2. 1 Jarroasted garlic and red pepper red sauce
  3. 1 Cupheavy cream
  4. 1 CupParmesan
  5. 1.5 sticksbutter
  6. Crushed red pepper
  7. Fresh garlic
  8. Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

In a large pot, melt the butter and vodka together. Once it starts sizzling, the alcohol is out. Only takes a couple of minutes. Any decent vodka will do, my fiancé drinks Svedka, so that’s usually what I use.

  2. 2

Add the jar of red sauce, and cook covered on low for 25 minutes, stirring and adding the spices and garlic as you go. This is a good sauce, you will just want to add more crushed red pepper, to how hot you want it. This is one of those recipes you will make again, so get what ever YOU like. This step will make a mess.

  3. 3

Add the cream and continue on low for about ten minutes, stirring.

  4. 4

Add the cheese, and stir until its melted.

  5. 5

    Put with almost any pasta!

  6. 6

Also can be canned using the boil method, done right will keep for over a year.
