Spicy Sharwarma

This recipe was inspired on my last trip to my home country Nigeria. Not entirely sure how it was introduced into our cuisine but we wasted no time in adopting it and putting our spin it. Shawarma is simply a treat!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix the marinade ingredients in a large bowl with the chicken fillets.
- 2
Marinade for at least 2 hours or if you really want the meat to absorb the taste then leave overnight.
- 3
While the meat marinades, you can prep your vegetables, I love crunchy veggies hence the interesting choices of carrots and cabbage.
- 4
Also a good time to prep your dipping sauce, the salad cream is optional and some people do add lemon juice but I wanted to tone down the acidity in the meal. Sweet chilli is to amp the heat up!
- 5
Heat a grill pan until it is hot and sear the chicken fillets on all sides until nicely charred. Set aside and prep your wrap
- 6
To serve
spread the sauce in the middle of the wrap as much as you want. Add the chicken and vegetable of your choice.

Chicken Inspired by Com Suon Chicken Inspired by Com Suon
This recipe came about when I was missing my mom's cooking and video called her. It is inspired by com suon (Vietnamese grilled pork with rice) but is more simplified.I replaced the traditional pork with chicken thigh because it's cheaper and was also what I had in the freezer. It's very simple, delicious and satisfied my craving for food from home!I hope you'll try it out! Linny Pham -

Mom's Restaurant Korean Tteok Mom's Restaurant Korean Tteok
I've been eating this since I was little. There were customers who found this delicious enough to come to the restaurant just for this dish.Make sure to produce a good base stock with the chicken, soy sauce, and garlic. Tteok doesn't fall apart easily by boiling, but if you leave them too long, they will stick to the pot and become gooey. At our place, we serve it into individual small pots before adding the tofu, tteok, and egg. Recipe by Riyonja cookpad.japan -

Spicy unusual sausage goulash Spicy unusual sausage goulash
Inspired originally Jamie Oliver’s pork and Chile pepper goulash but changed to this version after eating sausage goulash at a small deli in Nordlingen in Germany. Many home repair workers were eating that day’s special, sausage goulash. It was the best dish of our trip!Bo okaasan

Quick & Easy Chicken Florentine Pizzas Quick & Easy Chicken Florentine Pizzas
Like many of my recent recipes this was inspired by the latest trip to our local farmer's market. The flatbread comes from the local Arabic shop, the mozzarella from the Italian deli, and the spinach from a local grower. These make a great main dish, appetizer, or snack! Serving size depends on for which of those three you're using it . 😉 StephieCanCook -
