Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupOil
  2. 2Onion chopped
  3. 6Garlic cloves chopped
  4. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  5. 2Tomatoes chopped
  6. 6-8Green chilies
  7. 1 tspCumin
  8. Salt as your taste
  9. 1& 1/2 tbsp Zeera (Cumin) & black pepper powder
  10. 2 tbspRed chilli powder
  11. Water half glass (for frying spices) if required
  12. 3Potatoes slices
  13. 500 gTinda (Apple Gourd)

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add Onion and garlic cloves and cook until Onion turn brown.
    Then add turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes

    Green chilli, cumin, salt, Zeera (Cumin) & black pepper powder, red chilli powder & add water. Cook it until oil comes up.

  3. 3

    Then add Potatoes 3 cubes and Tinday and cook well.
    Add half glass water & Stir well. Cover it to cook for 5 mins at high flame then turn it to low flame (keep stirring in between) until the cooked, the moisture dries out and the tinday potatoes are done.

  4. 4

    Tinday ki Sabzi is ready Serve with rice or Naan
