Soak the rice first

Now add oil in pan add onion and fry until golden brown

Add ginger-garlic paste, whole spices, green chillies, salt and peas with a little bit of water, cover with the lid and cook until peas done

Now add 1 glass water or according to you rice bring to boil.

Add soak rice cook until water reduce,cook for more 10 mints for dum in low flame

The Matar poloa is ready to serve,enjoy with raita, kabab or chutney
