Ingredients

  1. 1 kgall purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
  2. 1 cmashed pumpkin
  3. To tastesalt
  4. Oil for frying
  5. 700 mlhomemade coconut milk

Steps

  1. 1

    Put flour and salt in a bowl. Mix well. Add the mashed pumpkin and mix

    Add the coconut milk a little at a time while mixing. I used warm water to extract

    Knead to a soft dough. Add a little oil and continue kneading. Leave the dough to rest at least 20mins

  4. 4

    Roll out, apply a little oil on top and cut into strips. Roll the strips to form balls

    Flatten out each roll using a rolling pin and shallow fry on a pan, both sides to golden brown. Serve hot with a stew of your choice
