Whisk together the milk and eggs, then add the flour and half of the cheese.

Cook the bacon pieces or diced ham in a skillet until browned, then drain the fat. Add them to the mixture.

Butter a baking dish and pour in the mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for 45 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
