In a cooker add oil and cumin.then add ginger and onion.cook it for 2-3 minutes.now add all spices and mix it.then add tomato and Cook again for two minutes.now add dal and needed water.cover with cooker lid and wait for one minute.after whistle open lid immediately.add Coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati.
