Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 13 1/2 ozfarfalle pasta (about 380 grams)
  • 1 cuppesto (about 7 oz or 200 grams)
  • 3/4 cupheavy cream (about 200 ml)
  • 7 ozsmall shrimp (about 200 grams)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Make the sauce by first cooking the shrimp in a drizzle of olive oil. Don’t add anything else, since they’ll be mixed with the flavorful pesto halfway through cooking.

  2. 2

    When done, stir in the cream over low heat.

  3. 3

    Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the farfalle. When done, drain and return to the pot. Add the sauce and toss over very low heat.
