Ingredients

  1. Yam
  2. Sardine
  3. Salt
  4. Spring onions
  5. Blended tomatoes and chilli
  6. Salt and seasoning
  7. Bread crumbs
  8. Vegetable oil
  9. 3eggs

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and cut the yam into small cubes, wash and boil with some salt

  2. 2

    While yam is boiling, prepare the other ingredients. Dice the spring onions, make your breadcrumbs ready. Pour your sardine into a plate. Break the eggs and divide the egg whites and the yolk.

    When the yam is tender, drain the water and pour the yam into a bowl and begin to mash it

    Mash until the yam is in a paste, then add your spring onions, mashed sardine, blended tomatoes and egg yolk. Mix together thoroughly

    Add seasonings of your choice and salt, then mix thoroughly until you have your dough

  6. 6

    Pinch and roll yam dough into whatever size of ball you want, roll it in the egg whites and then roll it in the bread crumbs and prepare for frying

  7. 7

    Heat your vegetable oil and fry

  8. 8

    Serve alone or with a sauce
