Wash and soak dal for 15 minutes. Take pressure cooker heat it add butter for tadka. When butter melt add cumin. After crackeled the cumin add finely chopped onion when onion comes translucent add chopped tomato.

When tomatoes mashed add dry spices.

After 5 minutes add dal and water. Give 2 whistle after close the lid of cooker. Open the lid when pressure down. Garnish with coriander leaf.
