Butter bean and bacon stir-fry

This originated as a means of using up left-over uncooked cabbage but has evolved into a tasty and easily-prepared favourite of ours. Because it doesn’t take long and many will have the ingredients in their fridge or larder, it can be “knocked up” quickly if a couple of unexpected guests turn up! Vary the quantity of tomatoes as preferred. A little soy sauce or Maggi Würze on the side to add to taste is a nice accompaniment. For a quick supper for two, just halve the ingredients.

Dates Wrapped in Bacon Dates Wrapped in Bacon
My husband was whining about how he ate this dish at a restaurant and how it tasted fabulous , so I wanted to try recreating it. He said that the dish was $7 with 4 dates each, but it was much more inexpensive when I made them myself. I love making cafe dishes at home.Fold up the edges of the aluminum foil as if making a shallow box. This is because the bacon gives out a lot of excess oil.I usually bake them for 15 minutes in a oven without any preheating. Take them out before you end up overcooking the bacon. You don't want it to harden.Caution: These are high in calories . Recipe by Mooming65 cookpad.japan -
Kefir & Collagen Cacao Yogurt Pudding Kefir & Collagen Cacao Yogurt Pudding
A yummy way to get probiotics, superfoods, and amino acid building blocks into the diet. At the beginning of the week I make a batch of raw milk kefir-starter yogurt that is thickened with collagen and store it in the fridge. I can then take it out and simply add ingredients to create puddings or dips/dressings as needed.MiraclesHappen

Asparagus and Bacon with Soft Set Eggs Asparagus and Bacon with Soft Set Eggs
I usually season stir-fried asparagus and bacon with salt and pepper but I wanted to make something with different seasonings.I was vaguely thinking that there might have been a pasta dish like this, and I added in a soft-set egg. That was a very tasty decision. Before you eat it up, break open the soft-set eggs nicely and mix with the other ingredients. They're good with pasta or toast. For 2 servings. Stupid Simple Marinated Chickpeas Stupid Simple Marinated Chickpeas
It’s WAY too hot to cook - and I’m hungry. This is something I came up with years ago - no cooking and not complicated, just assembly. It’s a great go-to for lunch, or you can scale it up easily for a side dish at a picnic or barbecue. You can make this a day or two in advance - and it can sit at room temperature for a couple of hours. Use your favorite firm legumes and add other veggies as you like - it’s your party, darlin’!This serves me - scale it up/down for you and yours.Sorry for the messy bowl - I didn’t feel like plating and garnishing. i am eating -

Spicy Garlic Lupini Beans Spicy Garlic Lupini Beans
These are extremely popular throughout Portugal. Any café shop or bar will have them. They are perfect with a beer on the side. I didn't add any amounts because there isn't any. Adjust the quantity according to how many beans you have. I like a lot of garlic so for 1kg worth of beans I probably add 2 bulbs of garlic give or take. If you prefer you can add fresh chopped peppers. Rae -
Olive oil and Garlic Prawns Olive oil and Garlic Prawns
A very simple but tasteful dish. Perfect for parties and barbecues. I make these has as a starter. If you can get hold of fresh prawns they are better of course but for ease. I used already cooked ones. Adjust the quantity of each ingredient to what you like, if you prefer more garlic, add more if you prefer. Rae
