Masala Khakra is a delectable snack made with an amalgamation of spices and a variety of flours. Here’s how you can prepare this dish at home using some easily & minimum available ingredients.

First mince ajwain, black pepper, cumin seeds and sesame seeds. Now mix all the ingredients well. Add water to the flour to make small portions and knead the dough. Don’t knead the dough too stiff or too soft. Knead a little stiff and tight dough that required to make chappathi. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15-20mins. After 20mins now grease oil to your hands and once again knead the dough.

Now make small balls to make khakhra. Now roll the dough like chapatti meanwhile preheat the pan.Khakhra should be thin if needed add flour for dusting remove the excess flour and make it thin. Pan should not be too hot it should be on low flame. Place the rolled khakhra on pan and meanwhile do the rest.

Khakhra should be evenly roast on both sides. Press gently on the khakhra so that bubbles will form and flip to another side you can keep oil on both sides, If you want without oil, you can prepare without oil also. Khakhra is ready to serve. You can serve the Chakra with hot tea or Desi Ghee sprinkled with chat masalas. For kids, we can spread the sauce and grate cheese.
