I was craving something soft and buttery to enjoy with evening tea, so I decided to make these crescent rolls. They came out soft, golden and delicious 🥐☕️

I was craving something soft and buttery to enjoy with evening tea, so I decided to make these crescent rolls. They came out soft, golden and delicious 🥐☕️
Steps

Mix the dry ingredients.

Add the milk, egg, and butter. Knead into a soft dough.

Cover and let rise until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into two. Roll each portion into a circle and cut into 8 wedges.

Roll each wedge from the wide end to the tip.

Place on a baking tray and let rise for 30 minutes. Brush with beaten egg.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden.

Brush with melted butter and serve.
Tips
Use warm, not hot milk to activate the yeast.
