Make a smooth paste of soaked cashew along with milk, curd, ginger garlic paste, green chillies. Marinate the chicken with this paste and pepper powder for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Heat enough water in a deep bottom vessel with salt, oil and lemon juice. Cook rice when 80-90% done. Drain all water and keep aside.

Heat oil and ghee in a wide bottom vessel. Add all whole garam masala and bay leaf. Fry for a while. Add sliced onion. Fry till they are translucent. Add marinated chicken. First fry on high flame. Add required salt and cook them at low to medium flame. Add fresh cream, nutmeg powder, rose water and kewda water.

Cover the cooked chicken with rice layer. Sprinkle fried onion on top of it. Cover and cook at low flame for 10 minutes. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.

Tasty white chicken biriyani is ready.

Serve them with salad.
