Makhana Halwa

Heat up ghee in a pan,add makhana and roast them for 4-5 minutes till they turns golden brown.

Now transfer makhana into a mixer jar and make a coarse powder.Add chestnut flour In a pan add roast it for 4-5 minutes on low flame.Transfer chestnut flour into another plate.

Now add ghee in the same pan,add roasted makhana powder,chestnut flour and roast it for 1-2 minutes.

Now add hot water, sugar, almond powder, cardamom powder, raisins and mix everything well.

Add water till halwa becomes soft. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on low flame.

Makhana halwa is ready to serve. Enjoy it with your loved ones on the occasion of Navratri.
