Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupRagi Flour
  2. 1/2 cupRava/ Semolina
  3. 1/2 cupYoghurt/ Curd
  4. 1/2 cupWater
  5. To tasteSalt
  6. 1/2 tspBaking Soda/Eno
  7. 1 tspoil
  8. 1 tbspfinely chopped green chillies
  9. 1 tbspfinely chopped ginger
  10. 1 tspMustard seed
  11. 1 tspUrad Dal
  12. As needed Cashews
  13. 1 tspCurry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the first five ingredients listed and form a smooth lumpfree batter.

    Now heat apan with oil and spluter mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and cashews. Add the finely chopped ginger and green chillies. Saute for a minute and add it to the batter. Keep the batter aside to rest for 10 minutes.

    After 10 minutes, add baking soda or eno and give it s quick mix. Pour the batter immediately to the greased idli moulds and steam it for 10-15 minutes. Done.

  4. 4

    Serve hot with your favourite chutney😋.
