Ingredients

  • 4 cupsfresh mulberries
  • 1 cupsugar
  • Juice from a lemon (zest if desired) (or about 1/4 cup)

Steps

  1. 1

    Simmer all ingredients low to medium for 30 minutes and use an immersion blender to blend out and mulberry flesh into a smooth consistency.

  2. 2

    Transfer to a sterilized glass jar and allow to cool to room temperature.

  3. 3

    Store in your fridge, or follow water bath canning steps for a shelf stable jam.
