Ingredients

  • ⁣▪️1 cup leftover dhaal
  • ▪️1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • ⁣▪️1/2 tomato, finely chopped
  • ⁣▪️1/2 green chilli, finely chopped
  • ⁣▪️2 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped⁣
  • ▪️3 tablespoon @quakeroatsuk to bind (adjust depending on consistency of leftover dhaal)
  • ▪️1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • ▪️1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • ▪️Salt
  • ⁣▪️⁣Coconut oil for cooking ⁣

Steps

    ▪️Mix the ingredients through to salt into a bowl until well combined. Adjust the quantity of oats to ensure the fritters can bind.
    ▪️Shape into fritters and let sit for 3-4 minutes whilst you heat oil in a frying pan.
    ▪️Light fry the fritters for 5-7 minutes on either side until golden brown.
    ⁣ ⁣I've served mine with a coconut chutney made up of coriander, dessicated coconut, curry leaves, seasoned with salt
