A 3-day-old loaf of brioche, an egg, some milk, a little sugar, and voilà—a great breakfast!
Steps
- 1
Whisk together the egg, milk, and sugar. Slice the bread to your preferred thickness.
- 2
Dip the bread slices into the mixture, making sure both sides are soaked. I like to let them sit in the mixture for about 30 seconds.
- 3
Place the soaked bread slices in a skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
