Combine all the above ingredients (except oil) in a big bowl or a flat plate when mixed should look like bread crumbs and knead into a stiff dough using little water at a time. Cover and keep it for 10 mins

Divide the dough into two portions. Roll out 1 portion of the dough and prick the surface with a fork. Then cut into 2 inch long strips or desired shapes. Then make it with the other portion of the dough and keep them in a tray

Heat oil in a non stick pan and deep fry the namkeen paras on slow flame till they are golden brown in colour and crisp from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent kitchen towel. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
