Ingredients

  • 4eggs
  • 1 1/3 cupssugar (about 275 grams)
  • 3/4 cupvegetable oil (200 ml)
  • 1/2 cupmilk (100 ml)
  • 1 tablespoonbaking powder (15 grams)
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 2 2/3 cupsall-purpose flour (about 325 grams)
  • Vanilla extract, to taste

Steps

    In a bowl, combine the sugar and eggs. Beat well.

  2. 2

    Add the remaining ingredients except for the flour, and beat again until well mixed.

  3. 3

    Finally, add the flour and beat until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

    Place paper liners in a muffin tin and fill each one halfway with batter.

    Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20 to 30 minutes (20 minutes in an electric oven, 30 to 35 minutes in a conventional oven). Check for doneness by inserting a knife; it should come out clean.
