Collect all the ingredients.

Roast brinjal on flame.

Peel it and chop it.

In a pan on medium flame add oil when heats add cumin seeds and finely chopped onion.

Saute it and add ginger garlic chilli finely chopped stir them till golden in colour add dry masalas.

Cook for few minutes add finely chopped tomatoes.

Cook and mash them until tender add brinjal and continuously stir and mash with the spatula with the same you are stirring.

After 5 minutes bhartha is ready garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with chappati or paratha
