Ingredients

  1. Smooth Spice Mix:
  2. 8red chili peppers
  3. 5red bird's eye chilies
  4. 1 clovegarlic
  5. 2/3 cupwater (150 ml)
  6. Additional Seasonings:
  7. 1 teaspoonvinegar
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 2 tablespoonssugar
  10. 1 tablespoonketchup
  11. 1 teaspoonhomemade bouillon powder
  12. 1 tablespoonchili sauce
  13. Thickening Agent:
  14. 1 teaspoontapioca flour + 1 tablespoon water

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare the smooth spice mix. Blend with 2/3 cup water until smooth. Once smooth, pour into a small pot. Cook over low heat until it boils.

    Add all the additional seasonings. Stir until all the seasonings are well mixed.

    Once all the seasonings are well mixed, add the thickening agent. Stir until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy. Remove from heat. Ready to serve as a dipping sauce.
