Ingredients

45 minutes
2 servings
  • 2 bunchpalak/spinach leaves
  • 100 grampaneer
  • 1/2 cuponion paste
  • 1/2 cuptomato paste
  • 1 tspchopped ginger
  • 1 tspchopped garlic
  • 2-3green chilli
  • 2 tsppanjabi masala powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tsphaldi(Turmeric) powder
  • 1 tspJeera/cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsphing/asafoetida
  • 2 tbspdahi/ fresh cream / malai
  • 1 tbspbutter
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1 tspkasuri methi
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededWater

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Blanched palak, make a smooth paste along with green chillies in mixer..
    Cut paneer in cubes..

  2. 2

    Take pan, heat on medium flame, add butter and oil, add jeera, hing, ginger, garlic, saute well...

  3. 3

    Add onion paste, saute till colour changed..
    Add tomato paste, mix well...
    Add haldi, salt, mirchi powder, garam masala, mix well..

  4. 4

    Add paneer cubes, palak puree, mix well, add dahi/ fresh cream, mix well..
    Cook for 2- 3 minutes..

  5. 5

    Add lemon juice, kasoori methi..
    Finally mix well..
    Ready to serve..

  6. 6

    Serve with paratha, naan, kulcha..
    Here I serve with steamed rice..

She was a master home chef, running a small business of food items like daily meal tiffin, traveling food packs, seasonal pickles, papad, chips, fryums, etc. So I learned a lot from her. At the age of 18, I got married to a huge joint family and started my new journey. My family loves my dishes and appreciates me. Especially my husband and my son. So, day by day, I improved myself, and today, cooking is my hobby, my passion. My husband, Mr. Kamal Sampat always supports and motivates me. All credits goes to my mother and my husband.I joined Cookpad in September 2018.Till today sharing my recipes. I am happy to join Cookpad, to learn and share more and many more. ❤️👍👌💐
