Ingredients

  • 3 cups potatoes boiled,peeled and mashed
  • 5 tbspoil
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • 1 tspginger
  • 3-4curry leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • 1/2 tbspkasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp onion
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tsp red chill power
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1/2 cupgram flour(besan)
  • 1/3 cupwater(or more)
  • Pinchsoda
  • As required Oil -for deep fry
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel boiled potatoes, mash them then heat oil and then add onion, garlic paste, chilli paste, kasuri methi, then mix well in oil cook for 5 to 10 mins.

    Then add the potato and all masala then add lemon juice.

  3. 3

    Mix all well then add 2 to 4 tbsp water and mix at well.

  4. 4

    Divide it into 9-10 equal portions.

  5. 5

    Prepare batter for vada take gram flour, baking soda and water mix at well.

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan over medium flame hot oil then add dip it potato ball into the batter and coat it evenly with hand and deep fry them until light golden brown.

  7. 7

    Ready to serve it.
