Sandwich Salad

When you're cooking for men, you have to learn kitchen tricks that save the day! Before every meal, they always want a snack, and this recipe is one of my best go-tos during the week. You can mix it with chicken, beef, ham, or anything you like—it always tastes delicious while you prepare your main dish.

Wash and clean the vegetables. Chop them as finely and as small as possible, then mix with the oregano.

Bring about 2 quarts (2 liters) of water to a boil in a pot. Add the vegetables and boil for about 7 minutes.

Drain the vegetables using a colander and let them cool until completely dry and cold. This is important for the salad to last longer, so don't skip this step.

Once completely cold, add the mayonnaise and pickle relish to the bowl, mixing well until everything is evenly combined. Cover tightly and refrigerate (do not freeze). Serve in portions for sandwiches—try it with tuna, chicken, beef, or anything you like. Let your imagination run wild and enjoy!
