Zarda is a traditional sweet rice native to the Indian subcontinent. It's an aromat sweet rice basically flavoured with saffron/Kesar, ghee, cardamom, cinnamon and dry fruits. There are different versions of zarda according to flavours adding. I am sharing today my favourite pineapple zarda which is flavoured with pineapple juice and fresh pineapple chunks. If you are craving for a different kind of sweet which is light yet delightful, you must try this recipe once.
