Ingredients

  • 1 cupvermicelli(brown-roasted, crushed with hands)
  • 1/2liter, full cream milk
  • 5or more tbsp condensed milk
  • 5-6almonds chopped
  • 5-6pistachio chopped
  • 4-5cashews
  • 2 tbspchirongi
  • 5-6dry dates (I didn’t use)
  • 4-5raisins
  • 2 tbspdesi ghee
  • 2pods, green cardamom crushed
  • 3drops, rose water

Steps

  1. 1

    Place a frying pan on stove add ghee and heat it
    Now fry the pistachios, cashews, chirongi and almonds till golden.

  2. 2

    Take them out and keep in a plate

    Now in the same pan add cardamom,in the ghee and vermicelli and roast it till golden brown.

  3. 3

    On the other hand Boil milk in a heavy-bottomed pan

    Now add hot milk to the vermicelli pan and stir.

  4. 4

    Let it cook about 5-7 minutes on low flame
    Now add condensed milk and stir.

  5. 5

    Add the fried dry fruits leaving a few for garnish
    Now add raisins too.
    And let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Towards the end add rose water
    Remove from the flame.

  7. 7

    Transfer to the serving dish.

  8. 8

    Garnish with the dry fruits kept aside.

  9. 9

    Keep in the fridge about 2 hours before serving
    Now ready to serve and relish.
