Ingredients

40-60 Minutes
4 Servings
  1. 250 g (2 Cups)Flour
  2. 115 gSugar
  3. 113 g (1/2 Cup)Butter
  4. 3/4 CupBlack Treacle
  5. 1/2 CupMalt Drink
  6. 1/4 CupMilk
  7. 1Teaspon Baking Powder
  8. 1/4 TeaspoonBaking Soda
  9. 2Eggs
  10. 1 TeaspoonCinnamon
  11. PinchSalt

Cooking Instructions

40-60 Minutes
  1. 1

    1. In a bowl, mix your dry ingredients (flour, ginger powder, cinnamon, salt, baking sofa).

  2. 2

    2. In another bowl, mix your wet ingredients (melted butter, black treacle, milk, malt, eggs)

  3. 3

    3. Add the brown sugar into the wet mix and whisk well.

  4. 4

    4. Fold in your dry ingredients

  5. 5

    5. Pour in your well greased pan

  6. 6

    6. Bake for about 40-60 mins. Depends in your oven.
