Steps

25mins
  1. 1

For making sponge cake.. Take 4 eggs first. Break all eggs one by one and separate the egg yolk and white part in separate bowls.

  2. 2

Beat the white part with beater until it becomes foamy

  3. 3

Then beat egg yolks and add sugar in it in 3 batches and beat each time. A slight foamy material will form.

  4. 4

Mix both materials, white and yellow. And beat until mixed properly.

  5. 5

Then add vanilla essence and beat for 1 minute.

  6. 6

To 1 cup purpose flour add 1 tsp Baking powder.. mix this dry material well. And then add this to egg material in 3 parts and mix gently with help of spatula.

  7. 7

After all the mixture is mixed well and no lumps are left behind.. the pour it in a greased mold of 10 inches.

  8. 8

Take a pressure cooker add 1 cup salt in it and spread all over the surface. Then place a steel stand and heat it for 5 mins at high flame.

  9. 9

After 5 mins place mold with cake batter.. in cooker.

  10. 10

Cover the cooker and bake at low flame for 25 mins.

  11. 11

After 25mins sponge cake is ready m.take it out and let to cool. Than take it out of mold.

  12. 12

While cake is getting cool. Take the chilled whippy whip cream and a chilled glass bowl. Add cream about 20% of the bowl size and start whipping with beater at medium speed for 10-15 mins. After the cream becomes foamy enough that it shows peaks then let it cool in refrigerator.

  13. 13

For chocolate shards.. melt dark chocolate in a double boiler and spread melter Chocolate on a parchment paper and let it cool on room temperature for 10 mins and then place it in freezer. After 45 mins the chocolate will be hard enough to break into pieces. Then break chocolate into required size pieces.

  14. 14

Take the cake and cut it from middle (sides) with help of thread. Two layers of cakes will be separated.

  15. 15

To 1 cup milk add sugar syrup or jam e shereen. And then spread this liquid all over the both layers of cake.. on surfaces.

  16. 16

Apply cream on lower layer surface of cake and place pineapple pieces. Then place other layer over it and apply cream on it and on sides.

  17. 17

Stick the shards on sides of cake. Place pineapple pieces. And add left over cream in a pipping bag. Use any design nozzle and make flowers on the cake.

  18. 18
