In a nonstick pan add the chopped tomatoes, salt and some tamarind. Add little oil and cook untill the tomatoes turn soft and mushy. Tomatoes for this recipe should be juicy and tangy. Tamarind can be adjusted according to taste of tomatoes.if tangy tomato then less tamarind if not add more tamarind.

In a pan dry roast the cumin seeds,coriander seeds,fennel seeds, black seeds,fenugreek seeds.cool them and blend in to coarse powder.

Grind the Tomatoes mixture into paste. Add the coarsely powdered masalas and chilli powder, turmeric in it. Crush few garlic cloves and add in it. Finally add the mustard oil. Store in container.
