Ingredients

8 servings
  • 500 gmTomatoes
  • For Stuffing
  • 1 bowlKhoya
  • 1 bowlPeas boiled
  • 1/4 th CupDryfruit chopped (Almond, Cashew and Raisins)
  • 1 tbspRoasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspCoriander powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tspnGaram Masala
  • 1 tspnOnion powder
  • 1 tspnGarlic powder
  • 1 tspnRed Chilli Flakes
  • 1/2 cupChopped Coriander leaves
  • 4 tbspChopped spring onion
  • For Curry
  • 1/2 cupOil
  • 3Onion Roughly Chopped
  • 5 Tomatoes Roughly chopped
  • 2 Green Chilli Finally Chopped
  • 1Ginger inch Roughly Chopped
  • 8-10Garlic
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspRoasted jeera powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspGaram Masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspSugar
  • 1 tspRed chilli flakes
  • Khade masala (cinnamon 1 inch,black cardamom 4,blackpepper 10)
  • 1/4th cup Cashewnut and almond soaked make fine paste)
  • Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Take 8 medium sized and firm tomatoes.

  2. 2

    Remove their pulp and make hollow
    Slightly cut the top and make hole and remove their pulp.

  3. 3

    Take homemade khoya in separate bowl add boiled peas
    Add roasted nuts
    Mix together
    Now add all masale,chopped coriander leaves and chopped spring onion mix all together
    Stuffing is ready.

    Stuff the tomatoes by adding the stuffing in it.

  5. 5

    Preheat the pan add 4 tblsp oil and let it heat in medium flame.

  6. 6

    Place all stuff tomatoes one by one and close the lid
    Cook it for 5 to 7 minute in low flame.

    In the mean time prepare curry mixture.

  8. 8

    Take mixer grinder add onion, tomatoes,garlic,ginger, green chilli add all masale and grind till smoothen or make a paste.

    Add oil in kadai now add khade masale let it splitter now add tomatoes paste to it cook for a while
    Cook and flip tomatoes after evry interval of 3 to 4 minutes.

    Cook till they became soft.

    The oil is separating from masala mixture

  12. 12

    Now add cashewnut and almonds paste
    Cook for a minute.

  13. 13

    Now add water to it and cook it for 15 minutes in medium flame
    Now add cooked tomatoes to it and cook another 10 minutes with gravy

  14. 14

    The curry has cooked and tomatoes soaked gravy it's ready to served with roti and rice garnish with coriander leaves.
