Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 1/4 cupchana Dal
  3. 1/8 cupudad Dal
  4. 1/8 cupmoong Dal
  5. 1/8 cuptuvar dal
  6. 2 tbspcurd malai
  7. 2 cupsbuttermilk
  8. 2 tbspchilli ginger garlic paste
  9. 1 cupchopped coriander
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/4 tspsoda
  12. Forvaghare:
  13. 1/2 tbspmustard seeds
  14. 1/2 tbspsesame seeds
  15. 1 tbspoil
  16. 10-12curry leaves
  17. As required Chilli powder for sprinkle

Steps

  1. 1

    Take rice and all the dal, mix them and wash them.

  2. 2

    Add buttermilk and give it rest for 4 hours.

  3. 3

    Now crush it (dardaru crush karvu).

  4. 4

    Now add salt, chilli, ginger garlic paste, malai and coriander.

  5. 5

    Mix it well. Now grease a plate with oil, now add soda in the batter and mix it. Then add the batter in the greased plate and sprinkle chilli powder.

  6. 6

    Steam it for 10 minutes.

  7. 7

    Now take a small kadai and turn on the flame and add oil, sesame seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves, let it cook and then pour it on the dhokla.

  8. 8

    Now cut pieces and serve it with chutney.
