This recipe is special because it was the first fruit bread I ever tasted. My aunt Racheal always had some in her kitchen whenever we visited her.

Lightly grease your baking tin and sprinkle flour to make a thin layer

In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt
- 3
In separate bowl cream margarine with brown sugar
- 4
Stir in eggs and mashed bananas to sugar margarine mixrure
- 5
Stir in flour mixture into banana mixture, stir just to moisten. Do not over mix

Pour batter into prepared tin

Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 minutes at 175 degrees celcius.

Test your cake by inserting bamboo skewer or Toothpick. It should come out dry and clean.

Let cake cool in tin on wire rack for 10 minutes. Then turn onto wire rack to cool further

For a moist cake cover with clean kitchen cloth plastic wrap/ cling film
