Thanks to Chela from Córdoba's recipe, I was inspired this morning to make my own churros for the first time. They turned out great, and the dough makes a good amount. I froze some for another day and made a few small changes.

In a large skillet, bring the water, milk, butter, and salt to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat.

Immediately add the flour and mix until a dough ball forms. Knead the dough, then shape it into a cylinder and cut it in half.

Using a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, pipe out the churros and fry them in batches in hot oil. They brown quickly, so watch the heat carefully.

Serve with sugar or chocolate and enjoy!
