For sweet paniyaram, take a bowl and add wheat flour, cashews, rice powder, jaggery, water and mix it. In kuzhi paniyaram pan apply ghee and add the sweet paniyaram batter, fill the moulds and close it with the lid. The flame should be sim heat. After few seconds flip over the paniyaram. Sweet paniyaram is ready.

In idli batter add rice flour and mix it. Then take a pan, pour enough oil and let it dry. Then add mustard, urad dal, gram dal, asafoetida powder, finely chopped onion and green chilli finally add grated carrot and fry. Switch off the stove and let the fried items cool down and add with idli batter. In kuzhi paniyaram pan, apply oil and add the kaara paniyaram batter, fill the mould and close the lid. The flame should be in sim heat. After few seconds flip over the paniyaram.

Kaara paniyaram is ready.
