This delicious casserole is for busy weeknights and picky eaters. It's not only delicious, it's also budget friendly, extremely easy to make and it's a family favorite. It's made with ground beef, pasta shells, tomato soup and 2 different cheeses and seasoning to taste. Super YUMMY and of course super delicious!

Ingredients

  1. 1 lbbox medium pasta shells (I use bowtie)
  2. 1 lbground beef
  3. 2 (10 oz)cans tomato soup
  4. 2 cupsshredded cheese
  5. 5 slicesbaby Swiss cheese
  6. 4garlic cloves minced
  7. 1medium onion chopped small
  8. 1/2 cupwater
  9. 1/2 tspall spice
  10. 1/8 tspsmoked paprika
  11. 1/4 tspItalian seasoning
  12. 1/4 tspbasil leaves
  13. 1/4 tsporegano
  14. 1 tspgarlic powder
  15. 2shakes of dill weed
  16. to tasteSalt and pepper
  17. 1 (4 oz)can mushrooms (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cook and drain the pasta until your liking.

  2. 2

Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish.

  3. 3

In a large skillet, brown and chop the ground beef with onion, garlic, salt and pepper

  4. 4

Add the cooked pasta, tomato soup and half cup water and half the cheese to your skillet with the browned beef and the rest of the seasonings. (Add canned mushrooms if you want.) Stir and cook for another 3 minutes over medium heat.

  5. 5

Pour the mixture into your greased dish and top with the remaining cheese.

  6. 6

You can cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes or leave it uncovered. If you used foil uncover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes. (I turn the broiler on for the last 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese.)

  7. 7

Serve immediately and store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
