For pakoras. In a bowl. Combine all the ingredients. Mix well. Add little water and make pakora batter. Fry the pakoras and keep aside. In the same kadai. Add little oil. Fry chopped onion till light brown.

Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin and coriander powder, salt. Mix properly. Then add poppy seed paste. Mix. properly till the raw smell of masala goes off.

Then add water as needed. Add salt as needed. Boil it starts boiling.

Add pakoras. Cook in slow flame. Till it is gravy. If you want to keep gravy juicy. It is up to you.

Once it is done. Transfer to a bowl. It goes well with hot steam rice.
