Steps

Clean and cut the chicken according to your preferred sizes.

Peel the potatoes and cut it into 4 parts of the potatoes are medium sizes. Remember the larger the potatoes the longer it takes to cook and if it’s too small it will be easy to lose it shape.

Crushed the chillies and tumeric using pastel and mortal.

Place the pot on the stove. Pour the chicken in then the crushed chillies and tumeric paste and lemon grass.Add it a little bit of water to prevent the chicken from sticking to the pot. Let it simmer until the chicken is half cooked.

Pour in the coconut milks and add more water depending on how think or thin you like the gravy to be. Keep stirring to make sure the coconut milk cooked properly and didn’t stick.

Add in potatoes, salt and gelugur pieces and keep stirring until you reach the right consistency.
