First, wash the karonda thoroughly and wipe them with a clean cloth. Cut them in half and remove the seeds.

Wash the cilantro and chop it finely.

Take a blender jar and add the cilantro, green chili, karonda, salt, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth.

Transfer the chutney to a bowl. Add 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar and mix well. (If you prefer a more tangy and spicy chutney, you can skip the sugar.)
